Saturday, April 21, 2012 6:48:26 PM @hauswyfe: Atheists don't tell you WHAT to think, they tell you HOW to think: logically.

Friday, April 20, 2012 8:24:06 AM mandingo: No 'flame' intended, but if I want to hear an outspoken christian all I have to do is turn on the tv, or the radio, or drive down the street to one of the hundreds of churches that are within a 20 minute drive from my house, and there is plenty of internet content as well. As an atheist the internet is about it. |

Friday, April 20, 2012 7:14:57 AM He and I died the same year. I was brought back and you know he is right about everything. The nonexistance is peacefull. Like is was before you were born. Except twice as long. |

Friday, April 20, 2012 4:08:19 AM I just love how he would come in and utterly demolish the carefully constructed arguments of his opponents without even missing a beat.. Hitchens ftw! |

Friday, April 20, 2012 3:59:34 AM thatjimguy. If you're not literal believers in the scriptures why GO to church then!?! You are helping to perpetuate the sense of entitlement the church has and vicariously helping to stunt scientific knowledge and the progress of mankind. If you can start to see the flaws in following religion then surely you are 'through the looking glass' and can pick apart the rest of it. |

Thursday, April 19, 2012 10:49:12 PM mandingo, the irony is that what you see as a double standard, everyone else sees as common sense. I mean, would you post something in favor of someone/something that condones infanticide, or selling your kids into the sex slave trade, or even slave beating/keeping etiquette? Any bible posts here are purely reactionary. |

Thursday, April 19, 2012 9:29:51 PM The thing is you don't have to be an atheist to believe in many of the things he talks about. MOST people are not literal believers, lest the TV, news stations, pundits and comedians would have us believe. Do you really think most people are literal that go to church every week? Ask them and find out. |

Thursday, April 19, 2012 8:17:20 PM Glad to see my favourite Hitchens quote was in there: "And not scorning the three delightful children who result— who are everything to me and who are my only chance of a human glimpse of a second life, let alone an immortal one, I’ll tell you something: if I was told to sacrifice them to prove my devotion to God, if I was told to do what all monotheists are told to do and admire the man who said, “Yes, I’ll gut my kid to show my love of God,” I’d say, “No, f*ck you.”" |

Thursday, April 19, 2012 5:26:53 PM What I found most amazing was how many christians came out of the woodwork to celebrate Hitchens death, in the hope that he suffers in hell, and yet they have the nerve to suggest that as an atheist, I'M immoral... |
