I like how the bit of narration over the "apocalyptic" shots of the iceberg is pretty much the template I've seen being used by Fox News and other Right-Wing media outlets to describe the current "What's Destroying America This Week."

You could literally replace the one time they say "Homosexual Agenda" with any of the other things you might hear on Fox News, and nothing would change.

"Mainstream Media"
"Obama-care"
"Socialism"
"War on Conservatism"
"War on Food"
"The War on Stay-at-Home Moms"
"The War on Christmas"

Wow fear mongering at its simplest. I mean they didn't even explain how or why or what the homosexual agenda is.

I have always wondered what it would be like if they took away Christians right to marry.

You know an eye for an eye... like the Bible says.

I'm honestly unsure how allowing gays to marry lowers birth rates. Does it have to do with the tacit acceptance of homosexuality leading to more people admitting to themselves that they are gay and thus not procreating? Is that not resolved by those same gays procreating by other means? Truthfully, I'd love an answer.

They are right about the police but for the wrong reasons and reasoning.

I should mention that ancient Rome lasted for centuries at a mean fertility rate of 1.7. It was after they decided to place staunch roadblocks to let "residents" become citizens did their nation ultimately vanish.

Hmm...all residents of the Roman empire were granted citizenship in 212AD, which was not long before Rome really started collapsing (a different emperor about once per year on average for most of the 3rd century - not a good sign). Opening up citizen to all residents is generally seen as a factor in the decline and fall of Rome, since it resulted in many people having Roman citizenship without any real ties or loyalty to Rome. In a sense, it de-Romanised Rome.

So sad. I can't believe that people still think like this. Disheartening to say the least.

Even Islam is about as nebulous as Christianity is, so you still have competing ideologies.

"sub-par" fertility rate in Europe

I should mention that ancient Rome lasted for centuries at a mean fertility rate of 1.7. It was after they decided to place staunch roadblocks to let "residents" become citizens did their nation ultimately vanish. Now if we found other countries with similar trends that would be more reason to "liberalize" our immigration policy so to speak.

"but it's likely we'll have to live with being bi-lingual, with Spanish, if we don't do something serious about illegal immigration on our southern border. "

What's wrong with bilingualism? Basically every other country in the world's population is bilingual, it promotes international trade, and it's helpful in dealing with people. North American and South American countries are really only monolingual because North America is mainly English and South is mainly Spanish.

If any religion has enough power to control a society

That's the problem, aside from the "sub-par" fertility rate in Europe, Islam really isn't going to gain levels of influence Crakr is suggesting. For one thing when people immigrate from an authoritarian nation to a democratic one they'd generally prefer to keep the latter democratic as will their descendants.

So, homosexuals iceberg want to iceberg ruin marriage by getting married iceberg, but when iceberg straight people get divorced, iceberg, it's ok? And yes, I believe their slogan is "We're here, we're queer, and we're going to destroy your marriage and steal your children."

It's not like if gay marriage is legalized everyone has to get one.

Muslims in general wouldn't have any say in the matter

Yeah, as if Muslims want to live under some strict and oppresive interpretation of Sharia law (which is the "Sharia" Crakr refers to).

In any undemocratic system of rule, the only thing that matters is what the people with enough power want.

In regards Europe first they'd have to remove the democratic authority to install theirs something most Muslims whom live there don't want.

"you'll be living under Sharia law within 40 years"

Well if the muslims want to live under such a system, which I doubt very much.

Muslims in general wouldn't have any say in the matter, so your counter-argument fails. If any religion has enough power to control a society, all that matters is what the people with power in that religion want. Those people very strongly tend to be towards the extremist end because that's where most of the people who want power and ruthlessly seek it are.

So, for example, few Christians wanted the Inquisitions to be the way they were. That did nothing to stop the Inquisitions being that way. In any undemocratic system of rule, the only thing that matters is what the people with enough power want.

Let them die then

So it's okay to treat people trying to escape a dangerous environment as criminals? China is already getting away with that BS 24/7 with all of their North Korean refugees.

@Cajun247 Let them die then. If you do something illegal you should know the risks involved. I do illegal stuff every now and then myself, but if I get arrested, I'm not gonna whine about it. I knew what I was getting in to. Also, with the exception of marijuana, I'm fairly certain that the FDA will just ban the drugs after they are legalized anyways.

@jtrebowski, there is no "agenda." And anyone who says differently is a complete moron. It's just human beings trying to have the same rights as other human beings.
