Apple's are also getting more malware/viruses. I don't think there's really any cogent reasons to own a mac anymore. Unless you're a graphic artist or something. And I said "graphic artist" not some random untalented girl taking a close-up picture of a flower and editing it into sepia. |

Apple isn't alone in the lawsuit, Simon & Schuster, Hachette Book Group, Penguin Group, Mcmillan and HarperCollins are also on the block.
The whole lawsuit is about a price raise of 2$. They won't have to pay anything back, just stop gouging the prices of their ebooks.
As far as Apple making their parts in-house...not any more. They use the same I-series processors, RAM, and HDDs as any PC, they just toss an A on the front instead of an I and multiply the price by 3. |

Back in school the computer lab had a bunch of apple IIEs. Most of them were monochrome except two which had 4 colours!
Needless to say if you were quick enough to get one of them you were the envy of the class. I achieved this feat on only one occasion but I'll remember it forever... |

and 36 years later they have turned into under performing overly expensive POS machines that cost as much as a used car.

Steve Jobs was a liar and a hypocrite. A con man to the core.
And he started it all by conning the HELL out of Woz.
And it doesn't surprise me at all that Apple would eventually end up in a price-fixing scandal. |

Apple does not have a monopoly on ebooks.
I get ebooks from several sources online.
Most recently, the 7 Harry Potter books that just became available in ebook and are not availabe at Apples website. |
