Oh my gosh, it's NAU! Lmao. I was sad that they vandalized the tree stump owl just out of frame (to the left) on this photo, but this makes me giggle. I practically lived in that building for 4 years. Fun fact: it used to be a dorm, and when they changed it, they left all the shower heads in the public bathrooms. Sadly, they shut of the water to those... so many pranks lost there. |

Around where I live I'm seeing a disturbing trend of people with bullsh|t arts degrees getting really well-paying jobs that have nothing to do with their degree, e.g. Lower management for a gold company with a history degree, getting around $120,000/yr.
...And here I am not making close to that. FML. |

For what its worth I can understand being bored to tears with the Am. Civil War if you are not American. I actually like Brit history now that I am older, as a kid it was too confusing and still is to a point. |

Otto67 - I had to study the American Civil War when I was at school. No offence to all you yanks, but as a Brit it bored me to tears. Imagine being taught all about the war of the roses (internal turf dispute in the UK dating back about 550 years). I couldn't get the relevance. All the other classes got to do the second world war. I'd have aced that. No, instead I got to learn about the Anaconda blockade, the battles of Chickamauga, Vicksburg and others and why Ulysses Grant was a flawed President and even worse General... |
