oh and for the people that don't get this, it's actually referring to the florida lawyer that said something along the lines of "I urge black and latino parents to not let their kids wear hoodies because it makes them look more suspicious/intimidating/like they're up to no good" on the news, which is an absolutely ridiculous statement |

@fwoggie2 the reason he hasn't been charged is because he claims that his wellbeing was threatened which, under florida law, allows him to use lethal force if he has to. because trayvon is dead, the cops have no choice but to believe that he felt threatened enough to use lethal force. Isn't there an investigation going on about it though? I haven't really been following it that much I just know a little bit about the law that allows him to just walk. To me it still seems like a racist killing though just based on the little bit that I've read about it. |

DShephard - it's referring to the killing of Trayvon Martin, the Florida hoodie wearing kid that got gunned down by a guy recently that incredibly - at least incredibly for me as a Brit - hasn't been charged with anything, even though nobody seems to dispute he did it. |

That's a stretch. I don't know anyone who is angry at the fictional character of Darth Vader for killing that other fictional character.
Even though Vader is a villain in the movies I don't know that he is disliked by many, unless you want to count the movies where he was played by horrible actors and was not really a villain yet.
If I had to caption this photo I would have said something about how only in Florida or the Death Star is it ok to kill strangers in hoodies. Please try to be more clever next time. |
