Tuesday, April 10, 2012 12:30:38 PM PS: "@Artillery: BOMBAST Now be quite little liberal, adults are talking." It's spelled quiet. And I'm not a liberal, I'm honestly quite conservative, I just approve of people holding firm in what they believe in, and not flip flopping... like Mitt Romney. |

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 12:27:16 PM @5Cats: I was trying to decide on a response to your so called "Smack Down" however, reality is, the truth hurts worse than anything I can say. Your best and brightest hope to get Obama out of office, is Mitt Romney. That's gotta friggin hurt, BAD. Good luck with that douchebag. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 8:46:09 PM Is this the worst the GOP can find? Him saying the same stuff over? Some people would say that was a good thing. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 8:00:38 PM lol, so he believes the same thing this year as last year and that's a bad thing? i guess the republicans are trying to get the US voter used to the idea that a flip-flopper (Romney) is what they need. Obama is by far the best president you've had in the last several decades, and you're to angry to see it clearly! it frightens me that you'd rather have another Bush than a rational patriot. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 6:58:42 PM Funny, but it doesn't make him a bad president. After Bush he's practically a saint. he inherited the economic crisis tbf

Monday, April 09, 2012 6:17:56 PM I don't see what's wrong with sticking to your beliefs. We need a consistent person on the Seat. I think it's fine to re-use themes throughout one's term, and it's rather advisable. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 4:20:01 PM To explain my smack-down of @artillery: Rhetoric: 1. (in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast. See? Bombast: 1.speech too pompous for an occasion; pretentious words. See? SEE? @artillery is being pretentious! Oh look it up yourself! lolz! Or ironic. Or hypocritical... |

Monday, April 09, 2012 4:16:00 PM He has little to no actual influence over what it is they actually sent to him to be okayed. Oy vey! Another one! @arimus: the President can and in the past has offered many bills to Congress. The PotUS is the defacto Leader of his party! HE appoints dozens if not hundereds of powerful government positions all by himself (sometimes Congress gets to approve, sometimes not). if not for the House blocking all of his ideas and bills, Wait, didn't you just say he couldn't present ideas? And didn't Obama have Majorities in Both Houses for 2 years? blame the fat cats in congress Obama was in the Senate under the Bush administration, soooo... blame Obama! |

Monday, April 09, 2012 4:10:49 PM the Solyndra loan was started by the bush administration. If by "started" you mean REJECTED then ok, otherwise you're blaming Bush for a company applying for mone? Really? Obama's people GAVE them money, and now it's gone. Blame Bush!!! ffs. You don't need majorities to have filibusters and get legislation blocked YOU need to learn some BASIC information on how your OWN Government works bro. Sad really. he just has no power to do them... @uatme: He's the PRESIDENT! What MORE power could one ask for? Are you suggesting Bush had "no power" also? Really? ffs. Teh stupid, it overwhelms the IAB! Except for @ivran, thanks for the back-up! And @RPossum, withdrawn? Ok, no harm, no foul! |

Monday, April 09, 2012 4:03:43 PM @ivran What it is that you want him to do that is within his job? The president is supposed to be the executive branch, meaning he only really has the power to make foreign agreements, and OK or NOT OK bills that are pushed by the House and Senate. He has little to no actual influence over what it is they actually sent to him to be okayed. If you want to blame someone for not doing there jobs, blame the fat cats in congress for focusing on Women Reproductive Rights, Raising Defense Spending, and Campaigning to retain power in order to continue this never ending debacle. He has done pretty much all he could this term, and if not for the House blocking all of his ideas and bills, we wouldn't still be waist deep in this mess, and if it wasn't for him we would be over our heads right now. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 1:59:45 PM @5Cats "not one link to back-up what they claim? Epic weakness" Actually, that is just the highlight homepage. If you click "Achievements" and then look at the list there are hundreds of refernce links back to non-partisan sights. I gave you too much credit. You might want to actually look around a bit before you insert your foot into your mouth. Epic weakness. Solyndra? God what a red herring.First of all, the Solyndra loan was started by the bush administration. Second of all, you are mad that the government made a loan guarantee to spur a private sector and the company failed? That happens all the time. "Not for the FIRST TWO YEARS" Really? You don't need majorities to have filibusters and get legislation blocked. If you don't think republicans were doing everything they could to block everything they could for the first two years as well then I don't know if you are informed enough to engage in conversation. |

Monday, April 09, 2012 1:52:15 PM This is total crap. He is the "President," not the actual guy doing the work. That's up to us. We've apparently failed big time. Stop blaming that damn guy for shxt that's our own damn fault. |
