I do know what you're saying, though. The first 10-20 levels are so hard to get, even on normal, and then after that it can get pretty stupid easy at times |

yeah, that's pretty much it. Did anyone else get really bored with Skyrim and quit? I find that Bethesda makes great games but after a while your character gets way too bad ass and the game looses all of its thrill. Same thing happened with Fallout3 |

For 18 years, a game developer has been making a series of games, each of which creates as detailed a gameworld as possible with the hardware of the time. Well, apart from Skyrim because that's the first one developed for consoles instead of for PC. But anyway...they pour hundreds of person-years into their gameworlds and it shows. Fans on PCs then pour more huge amounts of time and skill into the PC versions. Fans are still active with the third main game in the series, which came out in 2002.
That's why the games are THAT good - a lot of work by very skilled people.
This video is funny because it mashes reality with a game interface - the looting of corpses for items is such a part of games like these that you don't realise how odd it would be for such a thing to pause everything else. |
