I wouldn't say that society teaches that blacks are, "less human," but I would for sure say that the media and well...society in general do portray blacks as more dangerous/trashier people in general. |

I grew up in a school that was 60 percent black so I don't really feel that I was indoctrinated to fear blacks : /

"white privilege". oh before you get pissed just reading that term the concept was created by a white woman, not some minority blaming the white man (yeah I know that is what you were thinking).
if you read it with an open mind and realize the concept is not blaming you and is actually true you will learn a great deal about this society.

To everyone saying that Latinos aren't white. You're wrong-most of us are. Unless you have a high percentage of another races bloodline. Latinos like myself whose family came from Spain and Portugal are in fact DRUM ROLLLL.... Of European descent. This holds true for many people born in Mexico, Central America, The Caribbean, and South America.
The reason we are led to believe so otherwise is the US adoption of the word Hispanic, which traditionally refers to those from the Island of Hispaniola, which many Latinos aren't from. Never the less, it was done so for the US Census to better organize population percentage and sociological distinction of the Latino population in contrast to other races.

This cracked me up, I totally remember being that age and thinking I actually knew things about life or the world.
I agreed with her initial point about s/hitheads wearing t-shirts. Just the fact that someone would sell a t-shirt like that is disgusting.
Other than that she seems to have a very narrow world view. I grew up in the US in a school system where white kids are the minority. And I've spent a lot of time outside the US in places where I was part of a tiny minority. My point is there are plenty of non-black males in the world who have been victims of racism. No one "is Trayvon Martin", not even the presidents imaginary son. But all the rest of the BS she spewed about who she thinks I am is laughable.
