I keep thinking of growing some facial hair, but all the young guys I can think of who have some are the dirty hipster types. Not the image I wanna go for. Maybe when I get middle-aged or older I'll go for it. |

97% of all trans guys try to grow beards as an ironclad identifier of their new gender. (Okay, I have no idea what percentage, but every time I see a photo of one, he seems to sport facial hair.) |

I prefer a clean shaven man, but stubble can be sexy. :)
However, unkept beards are disgusting. Trim that poo at the very least. |

Also in modern society someone having a beard and going on about it makes me laugh, like you need that primitive 'masculine security' or something. Come on, we all know that one guy who goes on about how manly his beard makes him. |

Sadly the Van Dyke is the only thing I can get away with anymore. Used to have the full beard to distract from the receding hairline but my current job allows only mustaches and beards of the Van Dyke style or clean shaven :( |

Same thing happened to me with my ex-gf.... No lie... She bugged me for a MONTH to shave it, then she spent the next week telling me she wished I still had it. Then when I said I was gonna grow it again, she asked me not to...

Otto the great wasn't celtic. If you're going for bearded german kaisers, go with Frederick Barbarossa. He has the beard right in his name (=redbeard) and according to the legend he still lifes inside a hill where his beard has grown through a marble table.

I grew a beard a while back. Took weeks. Months even, to get it to its full glorisome, well-manicured bushiness. Everyone except my wife liked it, so one day on a whim I shaved it off.
Literally exploded from the bathroom, clean-shaven, with a "TA-DA!", expecting the greatest blowjob of my life.
She looked at me askance and said "You know what, now that it's gone, I kinda miss it".
True Story. I shoulda been a homo. Guys, I understand. Women, not so much. |
