Now, see? I like the way Kleion thinks. (Welcome to IAB, btw.) Possibilities:

The "bitch":

(a) told him a fast-acting laxative pill was a "new and improved" version of Viagra;

(b) put itching powder inside the sweatband of his snazzy fedora; or

(c) served him a plateful of catfood lasagna after he spent their grocery money at the local strip club.

Of course, now it begs the question of just what it was that this "bitch" did that would render him temporarily immune to electricity. :P

Kaagan, tasers dont make that noise unless they are completing a circuit...ie, electrocuting someone.

It's ok @chance13, he'll just leave this thread without admitting his ignorance and feigned knowledge. Either that or he's just a troll that drops stupid bombs then vanishes.

Taser's don't use amps? Wow...anytime there's an electrical charge there's amperage, it's just considerable decreased in the case of a taser, reduced to about 3 mA...

Second, voltage is used to push the amperage through a conductor...so distance does make a difference, as does the material it's pushed through.

Third, a taser passes electrical charge between the two prongs, just like a stun gun. If you hit the person in the leg, it will have a completely different effect than hitting him in the chest...like a stun gun...

so...not a great attempt by yourself to look smart either.

You can clearly see one of the prongs got deflected somehow

they use VOLTS and actually the distance does not matter at all.

Herp. This made me lol.

I’ll hold your hand and walk you through it: Think of electricity like a river. The voltage is the height difference between the start and end of the river, and the speed of the water is the amperage or current. If you’re in a river, and the current is slow, no matter the height difference you won’t drown. If the current is strong however, you will drown even if the height difference is small.

@jamie: Well you demonstrate a clear lack of understanding regarding electricity. A taser uses 50,000 volts, but without sufficient amperage the volts mean nothing. They use 50,000 volts to push the current through clothing, but tasers typically only use 3-30 milliamps. It’s the current (amperage) that delivers the electrical force necessary. Look up your internet articles and you’ll see them mention AMPERAGE.
Nice try sounding smart yourself, because you fail. If you look up taser probes you’ll see that they don’t fire straight out, they fire at about a 4 degree angle so that there is sufficient distance between the probes to conduct the charge.

Tasers, because it's easily than using physical force. They prefer to save it for the beatings.

wow what a total and complete load of BS your explanation was.

1. tasers do not use AMPs...unless of course you want to KIL the person. it only take a few Amps to kill a person.

2. they use VOLTS and actually the distance does not matter at all.

3. tasers actually build over 50,000 volts once they are activated but within miliseconds a converter lowers the amount to 5,000 volts so as to not again KIL the person.

also, the taser does not work like a stun gun, it is not meant to stun or affect muscle groups (face palm).

a taser is designed to disrupt the electrical single from the brain to the body and thus cause you to freeze and fall over.

seriously, bad attempt at sounding smart.

now if you want to argue we can simply grab us some articles from the net that explain everything I just said.

why did they taser a man again that was not attacking anyone?

crakrjak, the probes his his chest but were slightly covered by the shirt he was kinda wearing.

I love that, "I'll get you bitch"

I would be scared as hell if I were her after seeing him not even notice the taser hit him.

@Crakr: It looked to me like the probes were already fired into him when the video started.

Looked like he was bending over and bending a leg to get on the ground as ordered. So they had to tackle him for complying?

I think the cops were just scared 'cause their favorite toy {tazer} didn't work.
