Wednesday, April 04, 2012 8:36:14 AM I hate people who use those retractable leashes, it's so lazy and improper. You're supposed to hold the end of the leash with one hand and the other so that the child always stays at your side. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 8:24:35 AM I sure hope this is the extent of the stupidity, but I worry if you are willing to go out in public like this, how do you treat your child at home? Also, the logical extension of the argument that a ban on ice cream at a playground means I am a bad parent who can't tell my child "no" is that we should legalize all drugs for everyone. If you can't tell your kid "no" then it's your own damn fault they got hooked on the heroin sold at the playground. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 8:04:46 AM I never used a child leash but I'm not totally against them. There might be a brief period when the child can walk but has still not grasped that trying to catch the shiny speeding fire-truck is not a good idea. And those sweaty little hands can pull away fast. But a dog leash around the neck? On a bike? |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:39:18 AM It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again. It does this whenever it's told. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:32:42 AM A dog collar? Really? Next we'll have the choker and, for a little more freedom in the front yard, the electric fence. Also reminds me of neckbelts. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:22:24 AM They may not sell toddler/kid leashes there. I don't know. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:17:03 AM This isn't even remotely a "toddler leash". This is a dog collar on a child's neck on a bike. Dumb as hell. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:11:09 AM I'm with collegebound. I've never put a child on a lead, if they can't be trusted not to run in front of cars then you hold their hand, why is that so hard? |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 7:03:29 AM Child leashes are probably the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Learn to be a proper parent and watch over and discipline your child/children. |

Wednesday, April 04, 2012 6:49:10 AM I should also add that, once they reach an age where they understand their environment better and can be safer, then the leashes just look stupid. ie. having a three year old in one. |
