I wrote alot and deleted it. I just wish all religon died. That way I would waste less time telling people to go away when they knock on my door. It's rude y'now. Makes me want to stalk them and wake them up at 3am and ask them if they were interested in going to a gay bar or something off cuff.

Seriously though it would make life alot simpler. There still would be crime and all that but alot of wasted money could actually help people and alot of wasted time could be used to actually do something useful. If a single prayer is said at my funeral I'm gonna come back and start kicking people in the nuts.

True though that religon probably stops some crime because of fear or faith. I'd like to think that most nice people like myself are nice not because of religon but because the boys in blue would kick our asses otherwise XD

The Bible has the answers to life that science doesn't even have a clue about. That is why it is the most widely published book in the world.

Tell me, Crakr, where are the Philippines again? Europe, was it? Somehow it doesn't surprise me that someone with your grasp of geography also has a paper-thin understanding of science in general.

"He didn't have to @indisguise, I'll bet the farm he believes there is none.
Science says any talk of "souls" or "spirits" is bunk; there is no afterlife in science! We're just meat-machines and when the final bell tolls? We rot".

You're putting your emotions in, even though there is no point in doing so. In the grand scheme of things, we are mammals, animals just like any other animal. As the cycle perpetuates, we die, and other life forms come after us. The thing about "souls" or "spirits", is that it appeal to your emotions. Many people engage in this emotional activity, when in reality, there is nothing there except wishful thinking.

The reason why one theory is more believable than others, is simply because one has 100's of years of research, understanding and science behind it, while others have nothing more than fantasies of grandeur, brought into light by very intellectually primal people.

"Believers see 'miracles' (signs of God's existance) all around them, and scientists see poo they cannot explain."

@5cats, are you dratING kidding me? That is now officially the most ass-backwards thing I have ever read in my life, congratulations.

And yet, what he still fails to realize is how to get to a freakin' point! Blah blah blah, self-aggrandizement, blah blah blah, lightning struck my brain, few people ever know anything, blah blah blah, I like bubbles... I gave it 3 minutes - 3 minutes wasted.

"The Bible has the answers to life that science doesn't even have a clue about."

Making up fictional answers are not really answers are they? Name one proven biblical answer to life, and if you even imply the bible does not need proof to be true look up 'circular reasoning' and just consider that my response to your BS.

"You fail and don't even know why. You just tried to equate religion with science with your lame rebuttal."

It is just your arguement with "religion" exchanged where you put "science", I then switched places for "theories" and "preachers". It is your arguement and the reason YOUR arguement is lame is because you can plug different words in and the arguement is in essence, the same, your arguement has no substance.

What a cute little video. The funny man thinks he knows something, then plays a disjointed montage of photos with a music track straight out of the 70's

I feel like joining a drum circle now.

@5Cats

The whole "Where did the Big Bang come from" argument is not very valid. No one is saying that it popped out of no where. Folks always claim that there is no explanation or theories that can explain it. But, it's actually simple.

The Big Bang could have been a perforating of another dimension. As to where that dimension came from? Or any previous ones? It's simple as well. They always existed.

Religious folks seem to have no problem accepting "eternity". Why is it so hard to believe that the Universe always was and always will be. It wasn't created. It just always was.

As for one theory being more believable than another, you have to be kidding me? Matter spread out across the Universe, slowly over the past 13.7 billion years, in a pattern that we can still see today. Your theory? A magical, invisible sky wizard made everything by snapping his fingers then he made people; Men first, then he made women out of m

Right=on @DingDingDong! The Big Bang just popped out of nowhere? Or God created it, evolution and all that fancy stuff. Why is one more believable than the other?
Believers see 'miracles' (signs of God's existance) all around them, and scientists see poo they cannot explain. Non-locality? THAT is freaky stuff!

What was the revelation?
Also, it's not spelled "revalation."

And, maybe it's not a battle between evolution and creationism. Maybe they are both correct, or maybe they are both wrong. Maybe God designed our world from the "big-bang." Nobody knows, that's why people have faith...faith in God and/or faith in science. As for me, I have faith in both.

Crakr:

Quite a lot of today's 'religion' is an invention in someone else's mind to try and rationalize what can not be rationalized. The cutting edge of religion has turned in philosophy now, with just as many theories of it as there are preachers.

Religion will never be able to answer the most interesting and important questions in your life.

See what I did there?

@ Gerry - I love you man - you make me laugh!

@ 5cats - I don't recall him saying there was no afterlife. He said we came from the stars and that we are the universe.
Maybe, just maybe we return to the stars when we leave here? Maybe all those bright and beautiful colorful nebula's we see in space are 'Heaven'? And just maybe, religion doesn't play any part in it whatsoever.

@mykunter, I've had a "moment of pure clarity" before but dismissed it as a delusion.

What he's talking about is that once in a lifetime mind expanding moment where one "gets it". Everything is one. ... has no one else had this moment?

Yeah, once, when I ended up in hospital one time. It's amazing how logical it seems at the time and the clarity you feel in the moment, but it's equally amazing looking back and realising how utterly spaced out you know you were at the time. Morphine's a hell of a drug.
