Because my singular vote just knocked it down to 2.9, just so you know.
I think it's because people are starting to get so bored with this whole case, they're ignoring the posts all together. Which seems like a pretty good policy to me. |

I thank Zimmerman for trying to protect his neighborhood and calling the police to check out suspicious individuals in his gated community.
You wouldn't be hating on him if he stopped a burglar from breaking into your home.
I'm also glad he defended himself against an unprovoked assault. I hope every young stupid thug thinks twice about committing assault, or else he may get shot in the chest. And it's completely justified. |

I don't see anything but something that could be a light reflecting on his head. If he had a cut on his head they would have taken a picture. S**t, if I was Zimmerman I would have asked them at the police station, "hey, you need to take pictures or anything?" |

@MacGuffin: My point was that instead of using a recent photo where his look is considerably different, and what many people would consider provocative or intimidating (regardless of skin colour) they chose to use an angelic photo of him as a child, a photo from 5-6 years ago.
It'd be akin to Zimmerman's used photo being one of him feeding fluffy animals, with a halo, whilst frolicking through woodland and wearing white robes, en-route to helping an old lady cross the road and helping a cat out of a tree whilst making toys for neighbourhood children.
It's all about how you present someone. Reality versus the best view for your arguement.
That's a fair enough point. |

IDK. I can't tell what it is if anything. Whenever there are injuries involved proper procedure dictates that the police take pictures to document for trial. The police should just release those if there are any and settle this once and for all.
I guess what I'm saying is:

"I saw a Cops this past weekend filmed in Florida where a guy ran his neighbor off his yard with a pipe in his hand. He never hit her, he simply chased her away. She called the cops. He claimed "stand your ground" defense. He was arrested for aggravated assault and she got a ticket for trespassing. All the people involved including the cop were white. If stand your ground is so weak as to get a white guy locked up for running a neighbor off his property with a pipe"
