The trailer shows about all the action and storyline you'll find in the actual movie itself. Visuals are indeed quite excellent and there are many stunning shots. Problem is, however, you'll continually be wondering how you got from point b to point d without going through point c. Nevermind point a, its a myth. Zero attatchment to the characters leaves the surprising abundance of emotions hollow and meaningless, not to mention it gets borderline preachy towards the end of the film.
It'll wow you undoubtedly, but the lack of cohesion puts a damper on what could have been an extraordinary movie. |

Actually, there were negotiations for a US subbed release before it was released in Japan... I don't know how those went, though. |

That mivie looks so good. Visually beautiful. Awesome cinematography. I hope it will be released over here. Most likely it will become popular, remade by an American movie studio and ruined like 85% of popular Asian films(The Grudge) Anyone with more info on the movie please share. |

Argh... It's directed by Utada Hikaru's husband (his first film, actually). I love Utada, but hate her husband... He's fifteen years older than her. Oh, well, at least she sings the theme song... |
