Heh, would have been more than enough time to punch her to sleep and throw her off at the next stop. As a bonus, nobody's ride gets interrupted that way. Dude had way more restraint than the average public transportation rider, though. Honestly amazed nobody jumped in on that. |

So they think a woman beating on a man is funny? I'd like to think she's going down for a long stretch.
Maybe someone should have handed him a gun instead. Presumably in America that mean he'd have been allowed to execute her while she was beating on him? Worked for Zimmerman.

So anyway, I don't hit women because I've never met one I needed to hit to stop her from doing something. That said, all you guys/gals talking about how this guy should hit her and was well within his rights, no reason to make that judgement call for him. The woman is practically a midget, he wasn't being hurt. If he were, the adrenalin would've been pumping a lot more and you would've heard it in his voice.
Now, if this woman was the size of the large kardasian and was going for the groin, sure, clock her. Even so, "helping" is a horrible idea, particularly when the guy isn't even asking for it. Like mac said, this tiny man could go into a mad rage if another man puts his hands on his woman. Dude could be carrying for all you know. If you're a woman trying to break this up, you know you're going to get punched by the GF, what happens when a later punch from said GF hits the BF and he mistakes it for your hand? |

I would not hit a woman unless she attacked me like that. everyone has a right to defend themselves.
no one should have to take a beating from anyone. if a woman attacks a man like that she should be expecting the man to fight back. that guy would have been well within his rights if he had KO'd her ass. |

It's never okay to hit a woman.... but some women are just begging for it.
It's perfectly OK to hit a woman that's behaving like this, IMHO. In contrast to the video posted the other day of a woman being a pain in the arse by pushing a guy in a pond, this woman was physically attacking someone, and once that line is crossed it's perfectly acceptable to defend yourself by violence in kind.
That said, I've learned not to get involved in anyone else's troubles - often enough you only end up being the target of both the victim and the perpetrator when you intervene. |
