On a serious note, damn I am ashamed of my country when we fail to hear a message because of pompous rules about hates (and I am also ashamed of the constant bible posturing - but at least this guy was trying to make a positive point about how to treat people instead of using it as a platform to not teach science, so I'll tolerate it). |

He deserved to be kicked out just on principle. Congressmen shouldn't be getting involved with judicial affairs. It's not their place. They don't even do their own job as it is. |

welcome to america, where, while this is often stated, the inverse is actually true.
go plead to a court your defense (not a trial by jury, a trial in front of a judge) and you have the choice: not guilty or no contest (see 5th amendment), either way the judge will consider you guilty. |

If he's found not guilty, there will be riots, looting, vandalism, arson, mayhem, and death.
If he's found guilty, there will be one less Democrat voter.

Unless there is a lot of evidence that we don't know about, the prosecutor probably won't even try for murder. There's less evidence to support murder in this case then there was in the anthony case, and casey didn't get a single thing, although I think she should have, just not murder. |

You'd need to find a dozen people who've been trapped in a cave for weeks, at the very least. Preferably, you'd need a dozen aliens who've never even been to Earth and have no idea what racism is. |

ivran is correct. This is still a shooting or a killing. Until convicted this is not a murder. Now when and IF this ever goes to trial then it will be a murder trial, but until then...this is a shooting or killing.

It's hard for me to care about this story after it has been sensationalized.

@Viper -- there's enough evidence and witness testimony to come to your own conclusion. He wasn't killed by falling off a bridge or running into traffic; an adult approached him and shot him while he was on his way home. So yes, it was murder. |
