The New Black Panthers are near the top of the list of the Southern Poverty Law Center's list of violent, racist, hate groups. Why is anyone acting like they are relevant? Although as I read through the comments it seams to be a wonderful opportunity for people to spout racism themselves. It's getting ugly people - the comments that is. |

I don't understand why white people are being blamed for this. The guy that shot him was hispanic. If we're gonna be racial, we might as well get it right. As a white guy, I'm so sick and tired of being blamed for everything under the sun. I'm sick of that sharpton guy going around trying to inflame racial tensions all the time too. I guess he needs a job though. Ultimately, slavery was a terrible thing. And I'm sorry people had to go thru that. But I'm tired of being blamed for it. I've never had a slave. I've never rewarded anyone for having a slave. I don't believe anyone in my family history owned a slave. And I've never mistreated anyone because of the color of their skin. |

I think each of these people should be rounded up and arrested-its not legal to put a bounty on someone as a private citizen, regardless of how you wear a uniform to try and look official. These are thugs who need to be arrested. Idiots all of 'em. |

If the races had been reversed, this whole thing wouldn't have made it out of the local news. The bigger issue is why most Americans are permitted to pack concealed deadly weapons, and in some places kill people they label a threat with impunity.
