Knowing pet stores, they'd have no problem selling him a dog. Hell, you could come into the store with a dog muzzle and a choke collar and they'll still sell you a dog. |

This really isn't that ironic. Pet stores are the last place you should use your money on while looking to purchase a dog. These puppies are probably from puppy mills that equally (and in some cases mistreat even worse) abuse the animals they produce. |

That's not an adoption center. They are at a pet store (chiweenie? really?)which equally mistreats dogs. There is no irony here. |

Right...gonna call culture gap on that one. Guessing the guy's well known in the US, moderately well known in the rest of North America (at least among sport enthusiasts) and pretty well completely unknown everywhere else. |

Michael Vick, Football quarterback (millionaire) ran a dog fighting ring in his home. He often tortured dogs, sometimes to death, just for laughs.
He got caught and went to jail. Now he's back playin football. |

@Essen and Matwix: The guy's wearing an Atlanta Hawks gridiron ('American football') jersey with the name of [Michael] Vick. Vick was convicted in 2007 in federal criminal charges relating to dog fighting activities. The post is intended to highlight the irony of wearing the jersey of someone convicted of such a thing to a kennel to adopt a puppy. |
