@cruzy, what actually happened is that guy who came in at about 54 seconds, gave those kids spray paint to paint some brands on the skate park, this is as well as the fact that the kids who did the spray painting were repeatedly told to get out because they were cutting off people who were actually part of the competition.

So I guess what happened is that there was a competition going on and some kid skated through, despite that being a bit annoying, that f**kin idiot shouldn't have just shove that kid like that, also he should probably be done for assault on the other guy too |

This is a great thread because the linked story tells a different tale than the video.
I say cut the big guy some slack: when I was a teenager, if I had showed up with a group and began disrupting and endangering younger kids and one of the dads had knocked me off my skateboard I (and my father) would have thought that I got off easy. It appears Mr I-helped-design-this-park decided to protest graffiti by knocking over little kids. I say he got off easy too, at least as far as Karma is concerned :) |

There was a skate competition on for "real" little kids (see the kids saying "can you do this?") The teenagers skated through it several times - were asked several times to skate somewhere else as they were cutting the little kids off - they didn't and the guy lost his rag - but hey...maaaybe if they weren't being a-holes this wou;dn't have happened? |

This whole story stinks. They organize an event at a public park, but take no steps to gain exclusive use, ie: a permit. The organizers of the event allegedly gave the kids spray cans (referenced in video) to vandalize/tag the park when they were done, which they apparently did. Also, the park designer in the video brought the kids (that were cutting off the little ones) with him to the park and videoed it from the start. There's way more going on with this than we know. |

Even if the 13 year old was cutting off young kids, that's an extremely immature way to handle it. It is, after all, assault on a minor, which I assume is pretty serious anywhere. |

If the bully-guy did what he did because those kids were knocking down smaller kids, then why did he hit that adult in the throat? And how is that bigbully any better than the kids? They are just kids hitting kids, he is an adult(and a big one too) hitting kids! |

I do not understand the guys defending the bully at all.
That's because you've only seen a carefully selected part of the story, a part chosen to match the spin put on it.
The alleged whole story is like this:
Skating competition organised, mainly for younger children (6 upwards).
Adolescents/older children disrupt the competition, endangering the younger children by cutting them up, running into them, etc.
This guy (father of one of the children in the competition, I think) is annoyed at the disruption and risk to the younger children and pushes the disruptors around. |

I'm not defending the bully-guy, but there seems to be 'another side' to the story, if true.
Short version: Bully-guy claims the 13 year olds were knocking down smaller kids who were having some kind of contest & ignored requests to leave them alone. |
