Monday, March 26, 2012 4:40:29 PM You people seem to forget that we as human beings know only about 0.1 percent of all the knowledge of the universe. Your like a Nudibranch/Sea Slug who claims to know everything there is to know about a Tapir, even though a sea slug has never witnessed one. |

Monday, March 26, 2012 8:57:17 AM @5cats: Barium, Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen is better, imo. @randomxnp: YEC's are probably the most ignorant and stupid of the religious folk. @DingDong: Newton also didn't have carbon dating. @StickmanJ: "Anything's possible"? Isn't that the title of a children's book? |

Monday, March 26, 2012 7:04:50 AM Justin you forgot one... 3.At some point in your life you were too young to realize you didn't know all the answers... like what started the "Big Bang" and you come to the reality that anything is possible. |

Monday, March 26, 2012 4:51:01 AM But I do assure you, it takes no form of intelligence to understand your religion. I'm sorry, but there's nothing complex and indepth about your beliefs. In fact, your religion was created by primitive societies and therefore itself is very primitive. You trying to claim your god is real, sounds to me, how me explaining the greek gods are real, would sound to you. Interesting, but highly unrealistic and obviously delusional. I'm sorry if this has offended you in anyway. This was not my intention. |

Monday, March 26, 2012 4:49:56 AM Webz In my opinion, there are two things that can make a person religious. 1.) Low intelligence. If you weren't born into a religious family and still find religion through personal experience, or by other means, you are not intelligent enough to rationalize life's experience and find it easier to dip into primative explanations. 2.) Not strong enough willpower. There are plenty of intelligent religious people, however, they are most often born into strict religious families, went to religious schools, or have a lot of close religious friends. And unfortunately, they weren't able to overcome the bombardment of others religious beliefs. |

Sunday, March 25, 2012 5:17:02 PM trickroom That is not what the T-shirt says at all. You have just failed logic. The T-shirt says that people who are too stupid to understand science turn to religion. It does not say religious people are stupid. Well people who are too dumb to understand evolution certainly turn to religion, as many religious people disagree with some bizarre idea they think is evolution, but has little in common with the scientific idea of evolution. So the T-shirt can be justified. |

Sunday, March 25, 2012 9:09:31 AM Webz is correct though- not all religious people are stupid- just some, quite a large some judging by the internet, but those sensible religious people do not tend to spout off online. |

Sunday, March 25, 2012 3:25:10 AM Webz Have you ever talked to religious people who deny scientific facts like speciation through evolution and the 4.55 Ga age of the Earth? I can assure you (having argued with them for some time as a hobby, in the early days of the internet when at work I could only access geology-related content) that they really are stupid. |

Saturday, March 24, 2012 5:42:44 PM In my experience, people who think this way are usually too stupid to understand religion. Or else they're too arrogant to try. I guess many religious people don't help though. A lot of right-wing americans seem to think being religious is simply voting republican, and show a clear stupidity toward since, but seriously, real advanced theology, and real dedicated religion (not just unintelligent fundamentalism) takes a very intelligent person to be able to understand and discuss. |
