Yeah, just park. Everything will be ok. Maybe just pull forward a bit in between more cars. That makes me feel safer.
Given his situation and options he chose the best option. The other cars served as a wind break greatly reducing the chance his car would be picked up as it passed over. If it had been a big tornado, sure, it would have done little but it'd have been worse if he were moving and/or still in the open. |

By pulling in between the two other cars, the driver decreased his chances of debris smashing through the car or the car being flipped over. If the tornado had been stronger however, it would have thrown all the cars around anyway, but the driver still made a pretty smart decision in the tiny ammount of time they had.
On a side note, I hope those two people running around right before the tornado are ok.
