Thursday, March 08, 2012 6:18:49 AM To everyone who's bitching about cats not needing baths - take a look at that cat's legs, and the colour of the water she's putting him in. It's clearly some kind of medical bath, with specific instructions for how much water to use: that's most likely the reason for the roasting pan. |

Monday, March 05, 2012 6:56:42 PM Would have been easier if she held the cat by its scruff as she lowered it in... |

Monday, March 05, 2012 3:43:54 PM To repeat every sensible person on here, cats do not need baths. I've got three cats and friends with show cats, bathing ruins the natural oils on their fur and actually makes their hair greasy and horrible. What you need o do if you have a yucky cat is stop bathing it and let the oils work. |

Monday, March 05, 2012 8:56:36 AM Loved it! The roasting pan was the best part. I can usually get the goddam cat into the pan with much less trouble, you just need a hammer. Cats = Suck |

Saturday, March 03, 2012 9:22:23 PM @Steelgrid is correct! Although many don't agree, cat-baths are most likely good for your indoor pet. Brushing their teeth is even better for them. And about as easy to do, lolz! Especially true is that if you bath your cat regularly, it will seriously cut down on people's allergic reactions, about 7/8 of the time. True me, I know a LOT about kittehs... |

Saturday, March 03, 2012 9:16:10 PM It'll sound weird when you read it, but I've been talking to my cat since I got her, (about 3 weeks old, it's been about 8 years now) and I catch her trying to imitate my sounds. At some points I swear she understands English as well as a small toddler, with her responding to my statements to mews with emotional emphasis to convey her feelings on what I say. But I like the way this cat goes from saying "Noooo." to "HEEEEELP!" lol

Saturday, March 03, 2012 5:21:39 PM "Nooooo, cats cover themselves in saliva. Unless you want your cat to smell nasty, be covered in dead fur and skin, have all the bacteria that they pick up under their paws while using a litterbox, and the countless amounts of parasites they can pick up, you should bathe a cat. If nothing else, it makes them more pleasant to pet, prevents those allergic to pet dander from not coming to your house, and prevents furballs." Mate where did you get them facts from, cats unless covered in ticks, fleas, excessive dirt as in fell in a mud pit or covered in diesal etc then a cat does not need a bath, they clean themselves daily and to a high standard. and ref makes them better to pet etc, really!! we have had cats for years and the only thing that could stink is the litter box, but as our cats live out doors most of the time that is not a drama either. |
