Diatomaceous earth would work much better, and easier. If it is caused by a parasite, the diatomes kill them like tiny ninja stars. You just rub it into the fur and it does its job. We use it on goats, chickens, cats, dogs, rabbits, even ourselves. And if they lick it off, it takes care of any interior parasites as well. And its cheap! About $10 for a 50# bag. |
