Yep, a cartoon about pokemon poking fun at those who don't get the basics of evolution (An aside- IRL a theory with a LOT more going for it evidence wise then creationism, but that is not relevant here, yet at least.) is totally an indication of a poor education system in real life.

i never once said that the definitions were the same...the only thing i'm trying to state here is that physical growth is a small part of evolution IN MY OPINION...again...i dont understand why it is so hard to understand english...unless YOU GUYS are the ones trolling ME... |

Otto67: i KNOW they arent exactly the same...i KNOW that people dont classify growth as evolution and i KNOW that it is a stretch to do so...im just saying that I DO classify it as evolution...my god why is it so hard to understand english :|

b. The historical development of a related group of organisms; phylogeny.
You are referring to the general definition (1 and 2), this post and most everyone else is talking about the scientific definition (3), they are 2 different things, don't get mad when people try and correct you for seemingly saying they are the same.
Also the proposition that all beliefs are equal and therefore should be given equal respect is absolutely absurd. |

actually on some standards adaptation to your environment is evolutionary, which can be done on the individual level by some aspects. Also the fundamentals of evolution as based mostly on the similarity between all living thing and progression, which ironically is also the fundamentals of reincarnation |
