Friday, March 02, 2012 9:09:24 AM fancylad tedgp: This, for the most part, is a READER-SUBMITTED SITE. That means content that appears on this sit is SUBMITTED BY THE READERS. Although, you being someone with ZERO submissions wouldn't know about that, right? You'd rather just sit back and relax while other I-A-B readers submit and get their headlines stolen. Great, carry on then. _______ tedgp Male, 30-39, Europe @fancy ive submitted a few dozen submissions, all of which got classed as already posted, despite not being able to find them on teh site, and also seeing repeated submissions every other day on here. And the old "you havent submitted anything, so you cant complain" is just childish. _______ kitteh9lives Female, 40-49 Fancy, here is tedgp's vast list of submissions. A huge whopping total of TWO. It took me a while to look them over considering there were so many. Here they are: D Travel (0 / 1) 0% tedgp How not to drive - Blonde driving lesso |

Friday, March 02, 2012 5:16:07 AM For unknown reasons, I can see "delete post" under other people's avatars, weird eh? I used to get that occasionally before I was a mod, it's just one in a list of forum bugs here. Don't worry, nothing will happen if you do click it :P |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 10:22:50 PM @Patchouly that would make for some very long and ugly link descriptions. Think about how many complain about descriptions now and then add url gibberish to it. Madness Glad to see someone thinking though |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 8:49:47 PM Fancy, unless you copyright the captions, it's not plagiarism, as far as I'm concerned. If I submit artwork that I, myself, made to IAB and it got hi-jacked to Break.com or IDont'tReallyGiveAdrat.com I would be pissed. But if I submit it, they credit IAB, or a personal site, or whatever, they can copy the description word for word. Now considering IAB has user generated material coming from the World Wide Web, worrying about a word for word copy of a description is just asinine and petty. |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 8:42:27 PM So does this mean Break has all the best stuff on IAB and none of the junk, plus the best stuff on all the other sites? Don't worry, I'm not leaving, we still have too many Christian conservatives left to convert. |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 5:47:25 PM Sometimes we rewrite the reader submissions for clarity. ..or for the comedic effect of making some submitters look like morons. It's happened to me a few times. |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 4:45:32 PM RPossum: I was trying to read all the comments when I past your "get your own sandwich" picture. My 2 year old saw it and started yelling the nom nom nom nom song. It was hilarious. Thank you, you helped make my night. |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 4:30:41 PM @KixStar telling certain whore mouth readers to "shut their whore mouth" seems like a good way to retain an audience of people who think more whore mouths should be shut. |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 4:10:33 PM Ruffiana: No, they're copying-and-pasting manually, it's not a bot or a scraping program. I've tried that to test them and they just take off the text that reads I-A-B or whatever I write. BlankTom: Some are written by the readers, some by me, and some by the I-A-B Mods. Sometimes we rewrite the reader submissions for clarity.

Thursday, March 01, 2012 3:37:35 PM fancylad, Can you maybe prefix all of the headlines with "i-am-bored.com" so that if they are doing straight copies they'll really look like asses? |

Thursday, March 01, 2012 3:02:37 PM i've always come here mostly for the commentary of other users. i never expected original content. nothing on the internets is original anymore. if i wanted purely original content, i'd go outside and watch life unfold instead of reading about it here. .....never understood why people (who remain frequent users and commenters) chew on IAB or any other similar forum site for this. why not just leave if it's so irritating to you? |
