I'm surprised the hospital or whatever released her in that condition. When I had mine taken out, I had to sit in recovery for an hour or two until I was mostly back to normal. |

Anyway what kind of drugs do dentists in the US use for these procedures? Seems like (neuronal)overkill. How about local anesthesia? |

Oh, mine was local too. I mean, I walked four or so blocks back to the barracks immediately after it was done. That said, I still couldn't tell where my mouth was. Such an odd feeling not knowing where a part of your body is. |

I won't have mine removed now, lol.
Mine never were in the way, never caused pain...but now have grafted to my jaw...so unless I want to get my jaw broken in a few places...those are staying in there.

I got Sodium Pentothal when I had my wisdom teeth removed. On the way home I could not shut up. I was blabbing like a gaggle of women at a Bitch About Men convention. |

I was in the Marine Corps when mine were removed.
I got a shot in the back of the mouth and that was it. Just a local. Didn't hurt too bad which was good as my room mate stole the pain pill I was given. |

I had mine removed a few years ago. The only thing I remember is waking up in a wheelchair after the surgery. There was another guy about my age sitting in another wheelchair next to me. We made eye contact and nodded at each other lol. Next thing I knew I was at home. |
