Tuesday, February 28, 2012 8:50:46 PM madest: Your videos of UFOs doesn't feed the hungry, heal the sick, comfort the grieving, or house the homeless either, Christianity does. No it doesn't,that's a lie.A straight up Lie. Sometimes Christians do that, but christianity only does one thing-promote a fairytale. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 10:25:34 AM Yeah you put down UFO's but I have video proof of what I believe in, your invisible man in the sky only has a 2000 year old book written by uneducated nomads that the weak, fearful or brainwashed put their belief in. Anyone who believes that snakes talked has the credibility of a republican. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 9:46:14 AM madest: Never mind the trillions wasted for nonsense or the loss of American life, or the loss of Iraqi life, or the loss of respect worldwide. Forget the torture, forget the unconstitutional lifetime detention of "enemy combatants", forget spying on Americans, forget rendition. All the above and worse is still going on as we speak. Napalitano, under Obama's direction, has turned the TSA and the DHS into their own personal goon squad. And seriously, what gives you no credibility is the fact that you are blind to all that, plus your Bush Derangement Syndrome and UFO conspiracy theories. Pluck that 2x4 out of your eye before you complain about the splinter in mine. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 8:03:35 AM That's because Bush was retarded. You seem to be fine with any president if he's from your party. Nevermind the lie about the reasons for war. Never mind the trillions wasted for nonsense or the loss of American life, or the loss of Iraqi life, or the loss of respect worldwide. Forget the torture, forget the unconstitutional lifetime detention of "enemy combatants", forget spying on Americans, forget rendition. You look past stupidity if they're from your political persuasion. It gives you NO credibility. None. You are as bereft of credibility as your party is of talent or ideas. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 7:09:58 AM madest: ...bashing Obama is not a presidential plan. Why not ? It's been Obama's policy to blame Bush, and yours too it seems, for everything Obama himself has done wrong. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 4:09:51 AM madest: You're forgetting that these are just the primaries. People will start to unify for one candidate, before the conventions, later this summer. -------------- Keep telling yourself that CJ. It's what Frank Luntz wants you to think. There are 250k registered republicans in the state of Maine. Only 5,500 came out to vote, that's about 2%. Your party is bereft of ideas and bashing Obama is not a presidential plan. They are only trying to appeal to white, Christian, males. We see that it's worked on you. Get out there and vote. There will be hundreds of non-white, non christian, women to X that mistake out. |

When gasoline spikes to $6 a gallon, Obama's popularity will sink like a stone, because he stopped the XL pipeline. |

Monday, February 27, 2012 4:20:41 PM As long as the republicans keep telling america why we shouldn't vote for them, I really can't worry. 4 more years for Obama? Well.....yeah.It's not like anyone is running against him. |

Monday, February 27, 2012 3:00:27 PM cheeseb: Obama took 'staging' to new levels in 2008, white coats for a doctors summit, bussed in supporters, as well as, faked 'home made' signs. |

Monday, February 27, 2012 2:34:17 PM as zombunny points out: they are obviously made by the same person (same design, writing style/font choices, colors, etc.) However, if someone weren't there to support Romney, they probably wouldn't hold up the sign and cheer into the camera with such fervor. Meaning that the people holding the signs are already supporters of Romney. The signs simply highlight this. He might not have the amount of support that we (general public) think, but the signs aren't forced into anybody's hands, I'm sure. That being said, I'm sure every single candidate has used pre-made signs to adorn the crowd's inhabitants since the invention of the concept of candidates. |

Monday, February 27, 2012 2:00:54 PM Ohoho no Gerry no. I've waited a long time (with yet more time still left to go) to see teavangelical Republicans squirm in discomfort at voting for a candidate that is significantly doctrinally dissimilar to themselves. Since after all the Rep. race is essentially a race for Pastor in Chief, and the base would rather burst into flame than elect a "Heretic" like Romney. I wouldn't miss this election for the world, LET THE GAMES BEGIN! |

Monday, February 27, 2012 1:23:14 PM Agreed Gerry, Our representative government doesn't represent us. They represent themselves and answer to their donors. We're not living in an era in need of representative government anymore we could represent ourselves. We could keep a president just to make the snap day to day decisions and perhaps some steering but all our congressional representatives would be sent home. Their salaries and pensions would die with them (no need to be mean). We can have some app for voting on budgets and laws. Have say one batch of votes per week. Limit the number of votes because we all have lives and can't be bothered constantly. If the internet has the power to stop industry pocketed politicians in an instant they have the power to run the country. Time to think about something new that would more accurately reflects our views. |

Ya know, we could probably just do without a president for a while. Just until something better comes along. |
