It was all stuff I already knew. I looked up Green Day and the closest bands were Staind and Linkin Park. Then in the distance were Eminem and Avril Lavigne. I HATE them!!! I'm gonna try the other one this was stupid.

The White Stripes are closest to The Hives. I hate the White Stripes! I like alot of the ones further round the edge though. The Who turned out pretty well, as did Alkaline Trio. I have a tip for Music-Map though - put Dropkick Murphys closer to Alk3 please!

I think most of the time it's accurate. It dished out bands I listen to most of the time. Set out quite nicely too.

Well I agree with most of them. Lifehouse is surrounded by several bands I love and a few i've never heard of.

It gave me back bands I already listened to as well. So in that way I guess its sort of accurate?

That didn't help me any. I typed in a band and it gave me about 40 others I already listen to =/

Goddamnit, I typed in Ludacris and got every male rapper/R&B singer. That's not very helpful...

I looked up selena, and it gave me britney spears.

One is a beautiful, talented Latina, the other is louisiana trash that can't sing or make sound decisions. And their voices...completely different!

I think the closer it is to the one you typed in, means it is more like that. If it is farther away it will sound less than what you typed in.

Umm, cool the way it displays it once you put in a name. But the bands they recomend are odd. How do you include RHCP with Sting? Or Chaka Kahn with Fleetwood Mac?
