Whole buncha things, but not doctored.
1: It's a dirtbike, not a motorcycle. There's a whole different set of handling characteristics that go with that, not the least of which is better traction on loose/slippery terrain.
2: Like Kain1 said, wide-angle, almost fisheye lens makes the dropoffs look a lot more impressive than they actually are. Very few ridges maintain much more than a 90° peak.

He's using a wide-angle lense which makes the dropoffs look much steeper than they actually are.. so no not that ballsy.. |

Gerry i hate to say this to you, but just because you're to scared to do something, doesn't make it stupid. People who do these things are just willing to sacrifice or jeopardize their lives in an attempt to truly live. There is nothing stupid about that. |

fastfxr said kind of what I was going to. Quite probably it's just the fisheye effect from the helmet camera that makes it seem more improbable than it actually is. Pretty cool though. |

It's in western Colorado and it's real. Keep in mind that most helmet cams distort the image so it's not as crazy as it looks.
My son and I do this all the time...search for "5MOH" or "5 miles of he*l" and "dirtbike" and you'll get a glimpse of real insanity. |

Why do people think that's fake, just because they wouldn't do it themselves. It's perfectly plausible, there's a fairly decent track to ride, it just so happens that there's a significant drop either side. |
