Wednesday, February 22, 2012 8:31:10 AM Maybe if the dumbass didn't ride in the middle of the road, then actually have the gaul to move right when being overtaken, the bus driver wouldn't have put him in his place. Bus vs Bike, who will win? certainly not the idiot on the bike. |

Bikes do not have the same rights as cars. Bikes are to stay on the side, not ride down the center. But go ahead, challenge the cars all you want. I'm sure "being in the right" will be a great comfort to your widow. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 6:17:59 AM I've certainly felt like running over cyclists whilst driving but I've always managed to stop myself - I'm super restrained when it comes to attempted murder and the like. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 6:17:27 AM The cyclist may well have been being a dick, but that's no excuse for attempted murder. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 5:25:14 AM A bus driver in the United Kingdom has been jailed for 17 months for going full Mario Kart on the cyclist pedaling ahead of him. Accidents happen, right? Yeah, this was no accident. This is straight up assault. Fortunately, the judge thought so too. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 4:56:01 AM No. Roads are for vehicles, footways are for pedestrians. It's actually illegal to ride a bike on a footway here, as well it should be. Hence the "should be" as opposed to "is". Also, It is not illegal to ride on the sidewalk where I live. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 4:54:42 AM If a bike can go the speed limit, fine. If not, the cyclist should be ticketed for impeding the flow of traffic, just like a car could if they did 8 mph in a 40 mph zone. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 3:54:57 AM What evidence do we have that the cyclist antagonised the bus driver? Don't we just know that they had a previous "altercation"? Surely that means it's equally possible that it was the bus driver antagonising the cyclist. Just a thought. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 1:36:37 AM This is how you handle bike traffic, not on the sideWALK and not on the street. |

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 12:04:54 AM Biker had a previous altercation with bus driver, then tried to prove a point by riding directly in front of bus. Stupid dick. Bus driver lost self control and de-railed biker. Stupid dick. |

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 11:26:49 PM I give bikers credit for picking a healthy way to get to work. But many do project a holier-than-thou attitude toward drivers AND pedestrians that doesn't win bike riders many friends. |

Judge LazyMe is 1 for 1. *hits gavel* *hits gavel* *hits gavel* *hits gavel* *hits gavel* *hits gavel* Also give the cyclist a warning to be on the side next time... just to balance things out. |

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 7:48:27 PM Drivers don't respect bikers Bikers don't respect walkers I should carry a stick to spear in their tires next time one tries to run me over. I like when they flip over and land on their face. |

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 7:21:03 PM Living and working in a city, I gotta say: When I'm walking, I hate drivers. When I'm driving I hate pedestrians. But, whether I'm walking or driving, I always hate people on bikes |
