i just don't understand why so many people have cameras mounted to the dash. is that standard option?
and that bag like just appeared, and it just happened to land right over where the camera was? either that or the bag was huge enough to have to pull over. i would have hit the curb if that happened. he was rather calm. |

I dont think its lagit... and if its real. CHances are people are looking for that money, the people who lost the money and keep it in a plastic bag are probably people you dont want to mess with. |

If the bag had any snow at all on it, I may have believed it. Since it did not have even a flake, after claiming it came from the snow on the side of the road, it's so fake, why waste the time. |

Oops, I should have watched the video first. He did actively film it, not just from a dashboard cam. He's also showing himself driving in a foolish way - nobody with any sense drives that close behind a snow plough because you can't see where you're going.
So chalk me up on the "fake" side of the board. |

Since small video cameras with decent quality and storage space are quite cheap nowadays, some people stick them in their car and leave them running, so the camera always has the last hour (or whatever) of driving on it. It's a "just in case" measure. If you're involved in an accident, you have video evidence of what happened.
They continued filming while removing the plastic bag?
Well, they might have simply not turned off the camera, if they're used to having it on all the time they're driving.
But posting it on the net? That seems fishy to me. People who have large amounts of cash to drop in the road are very often not people you want to steal from and if you do then you don't splash evidence of it on the net. |
