Wednesday, February 15, 2012 8:26:20 PM @Lando I did. I was saying he wasn't putting that education to use. I thought it was pretty clear, but never underestimate the intelligence of people on the internet. @Nijd: Have you seen how fat football players are? And yes, Michael Vick is a great role-model for the kids. I can see you're retarded. So there's that. You should go back to school and try to pass the eighth grade this time round. However try, if you can, to read this: Economics of Sports Teams It has facts and numbers, you know fancy book lernin' stuff, but if you can get through it you will realize how fantastically wrong you are. |

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 5:06:25 PM He's American of Taiwanese heritage, not Chinese. Taiwanese IS Chinese, since the country is called the Republic of China. It is a distinct country from the People's Republic of China. Officially Taiwan is a territory of the People's Republic of China, called "Chinese Taipei" but as a distinct country Taiwan is still called the Republic of China. Either way, Taiwanese people are Chinese, regardless of whether they identify with the country most people call "China" or not. |

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 4:54:35 PM So he gave up a Harvard education to play sports. Shame, he almost became a productive member of society. No, he graduated from Harvard in 2010 with a degree in economics before joining the NBA. Get your facts straight. |

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 1:59:27 PM So, xipuiripat... athletes who generate massive income for their cities and states, entertain millions of people, create loads of jobs and give kids a positive role model are not a productive member of society? I'm willing to bet everything I'll ever own that Jeremy Lin, BEFORE he got famous, was a more productive member of society than you'll ever be. That's based purely on your amazing ignorance. |

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 11:07:12 AM Sorry, I got his heritage kinda wrong. That said, Lin is an amazing underdog story. Don't think he's a flash-in-the-pan. Tebow was a flash with limited talent. Lin has gone up against some of the best (Lakers) and destroyed. He seems to have a full game whereas Tebow only had a half arsenal. |
