Tuesday, February 14, 2012 7:51:00 AM I remember how it was to be a teen. I remember how much I hated the morons disrupting class when I was trying to learn, too. If they did this during lunch or something, I would have found it amusing. But not in the classroom. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 3:10:15 PM And they're not even that good! My high school, one of the top 40 public HSs in the nation, has days like these where no work gets done because of a substitute teacher. So does/did/will your HS, you internet-racists. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 3:05:22 PM what's wronging with this? i'd love to be in a class like this! they're just exercising their music muscles! acting smart and being smart are two different things; those kids free-styling are exhibiting improvisational, quick-thinking, lyrical skills that many of you are too slow to understand or appreciate, let alone match. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 12:43:30 PM Lots of time/opportunity for free-styling outside of the classroom. Highschool ?? Learning is your "job", and time flies, so crack at it !! And that's right, it's ZED !! (now get off my lawn....) |

Monday, February 13, 2012 8:39:12 AM It's "zed". Like my favourite rapper Jay-Zed, or Zed Zed Top. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 5:46:38 AM If they would utilize half of their time spent rapping on learning, they might actually know more than their ABC's at the high school level. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 5:07:21 AM You know, if they are into rap/whatever, nurture it. Elsewhere though. Perhaps a weekly music class geared to it? INB4- Bad spelling/grammar/whatever for a teacher. English is not my first language, shove off. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 4:56:15 AM Going to admit I have a bit of trouble understanding exactly what they are saying. Kind of the accent thing? But as someone who went to a rough Highschool and is studying to become a teacher, I'd much rather have this then half the stuff that went on at my school (See- things getting set on fire, in class punch-ups/knife attempts, etc). Seems pretty non violent and even creative compared to what they could be doing. That said though, there is a time and a place for this, and it's not in a formal classroom setting an the teacher should have had the guts to act through with detention or whatnot after warning them. Not that it always works, it's really not a threat at all. "Woohoo, we lose our lunch, big whoop" type thing. Calling parents doesn't help much either, most kids parents don't give a damn. I'd rather negotiate with these guys. You know, "Hey, if we do half an hour of this subject we will commandeer the music room and do your singing thing afte |

Sunday, February 12, 2012 5:31:27 PM I'm surprised they knew the whole alphabet. I really hate ghetto people. (Don't accuse me of being racist, ghetto does not mean black) |
