Monday, February 13, 2012 3:28:31 PM Do not take me to be insensitive, but Whitney Houston died because she was a drug addict; prescription drugs or illegal drugs, whatever it was the drugs finally got to her. I feel very sorry that her family has lost her, but for Whitney herself, I do not have any sympathy. |

Monday, February 13, 2012 11:25:10 AM Jennifer Hudson sang I will always love you after the memorium. I like Jennifer Hudson- I wasn't overly particular to the rendition though...but you could tell she was trying not to cry and she did a good job. I thought Dolly Parton should have sang it. |

Sunday, February 12, 2012 10:50:34 PM Cobrakiller, I'm just watching it now :) LL Cool J said a prayer for Whitney right after the opening number and they showed a clip of one of her Grammy performances. It was nice, touching. I'm happy that they did something simple and respectful considering her beliefs and beginnings instead of rushing out an ill-prepared tribute. |

Sunday, February 12, 2012 8:46:08 PM Personally, I just choose to blame Bobby Brown for getting her hooked on the bad shiz in the first place. |

Sunday, February 12, 2012 8:45:40 PM If anyone is curious on the update... As it goes right now, she was found in the tub, nude (LordJim I think it's worth note. Psychologically speaking, people don't usually undress to commit suicide so it indicates it was likely accidental). There were prescription pills in her room and she was underneath the water and there was water in her lungs. I actually do feel sympathy for her. This happens to a lot of celebrities. The lifestyle introduces them to thousands of temptations and socially acceptable drugs. They go to rehab when it all becomes too much and Doctors prescribe them prescription drugs. They just become addicted to something else that's legal and easier to get. I'm not saying it's not her own fault but I can't help but just feel sympathy for her. It's not as if it's not rampant in Hollywood. Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson, ODB, Brittany Murphy, DJ AM...hell, how about Marilyn Monroe, Jimmi Hendrix, Elvis, Bruce Lee and Keith Moon?
