There's nothing wrong with being conservative or liberal. The problem is money in politics, and there's one side playing along (Democrats) with letting it remain as it is, and one side (Republicans) pushing it further than it's ever gone, giving subsidies exclusively to those that don't need them at the expense of both the deficit and others who do.
Also, as for "crazy" examples... have you seen the core positions of the people running?
Santorum Don't contribute to universities, they just push a liberal anti-God agenda.
Perry: Lets get rid of the Department of Education.
Paul: If someone dies because they can't afford healthcare that's ok.
Newt, Gingrich, Cain: All favour decreased tax rates for the rich, and raises on poor.
Every "Crazy" example he cites are stances the candidates are taking. |

I found this video naive. Of course people want those things, and even the worst politician would agree. People and politicians disagree on HOW to do those things.
No matter how much this guy wants to find common ground, when you start trying to make progress on things people will have different opinions on how to do it. |
