so they let a colony die just to film this? in america we have a shortage, and it's illegal to bees. i mean the camera angles were cool, but still. that's like sending in hungry dogs into an orphanage of crippled children just for cinematic effect. |

this is why were going to be drated. no one gives a poo that bees are the number one reason we have plants in the world. dont you know that there is a part of africa that no longer has bees. some bees are no longer honey bees but have become poisonous or just like these hornets because they wouldnt be left alone. |

the bees actually have a strategy for this, i expected to see it here...
they jump on the hornets and gang up around them so close and start vibrating their bodies to create heat and eventually boil the hornet with their joined body heat |

Who should have? The Hornets or the Bees? I assume you meant the bees should have swarmed like bees? That sounds silly. And there are videos out there of bees killing one of these bad boys, it requires bees to surround the hornet, then start buzzing really fast to raise the temperature in the bee/hornet cluster. They raise it to within 2 degrees of their own death, which is exactly the temperature needed to kill the hornet... naturally a LOT of bees are killed during this (the hornet is still trying to kill it';s way out, but more bees are adding themselves to the cluster, and some die of overheating... |

It was like a bad 80s kung fu movie. Why attack them one by one. They should have swarmed them like bees.
Also, some bastard documentary producers released those hornets at the bees, after getting their cameras set up to record the carnage. May even have done a few hives to get the angles right |
