Usually seen on shotguns though, I believe the chainsaw is actually a tactical breaching tool used to cut doorknobs out of doors.
One would think the AK barrel and bedding/stock really cant take too much of that kind of abuse, it wasn't designed for it. After a zombie or two, the barrel would be bent or the mount would break. |

I know this looks like just a fun little thing or project that one company put together, but it is bigger than that. This was displayed at the SHOT show, a gun trade show. Weapons are sold commercially in the US for 2 things; sport defense. This "fun" and "cool" gun is able to add another category; aggression. I am not anti gun, but what this does is allow firearm manufacturers to sell guns for aggressive purposes though a medium that looks innocent and fun. Sure it is just a fad and will go away and it is a bit of fun for most people, but that isn't how the manufacturers see it.

The whole zombie theme plays off the fear off crowds, strangers and being overwhelmed by people. I have seen several weapons and ammunition made by production companies that sell products specifically for zombies. The thing is... they don't exist. Humans exist though. Making real weapons that do real gruesome damage for pretend things is dangerous and irresponsible. I enjoy a zombie movie as much as the next guy, but the last thing we need is some arms dealers profiting off of irrational fears. |

Pretty epic build, but a chainsaw is ultimately useless on flesh. Sure it'll tear a few up, but it will jam up after a bit. |
