Wednesday, January 25, 2012 10:14:32 AM I've often seen soft drinks in bags, with a few ice-cubes, but never beer. Kids sell them, often through bus or train windows. Even if the soft drink is the real thing the water for the ice could be from anywhere. |

Wednesday, January 25, 2012 7:49:18 AM @fakecrakrjakk....i agree with you completely. The problem is that when other world powers (ahem) ruled the world we gave them what for, it was a natural process for the conquered to be killed or assimilated , you yanks have let the world down , so get in your tanks yanks and spank the cranks , banks and skanks (and maybe the mancs ) :)

Wednesday, January 25, 2012 7:44:15 AM I've drank this beer. It's not very good. Taiwan Beer is the best. Interestingly, the beer in Asia is quite a bit stronger than the beer in the US. I've never had it in a plastic bag or seen it in a plastic bag and I've been all over Asia so this is very strange. |

Wednesday, January 25, 2012 7:12:36 AM @jaymeister Not all of us can afford to travel. Therefore we are forced to gain our world view from what is shovelled down our throats. Surely it is better that I see what this tribal fuzzy wuzzys and such are like then just hate them for no reason. I have the appropriate world view USA USA USA! and you'd be good to get on board |

I've seen coca-cola and other soft drinks poured into bags just like these on travel shows. " arr...the well travelled american informs us about how the rest of the world is from his armchair in front of the TV. Well said CrakrJak you show 'em. |

Wednesday, January 25, 2012 7:01:38 AM Sorry I just realised how derogatory the term 2nd and 3rd world is and would like to detract that. Stating in some other societies people businesses retain ownership of the bottle's much in our country how Apple retains ownership of all it's products and you can't do whatever you want to the products you perpetually lease. |

Wednesday, January 25, 2012 7:01:27 AM PriceIsRight & Fwoggie2: That's true of any beer in green bottles. They let in more light, thus they go skunky much faster. From my younger days I remember plenty of cases of O'Keefe where EVERY bottle was skunky. |

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 11:06:58 PM Tsingtao (pronounced Ching Dow) is great if drunk in China, it's foul if drunk anywhere else. Like Guinness and Heineken it doesn't travel at all well. |

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 8:10:25 PM @PriceIsRight However at 2Yuan or about 30 cents per 750ml bottle it does the job. |
