Tuesday, January 24, 2012 6:30:58 AM Self defence.. yeah a bug was trying to take a bite of his shoes and the only way to prevent it was to wipe his shoe on her face. I agree, self defence! |

Sunday, January 22, 2012 7:48:39 PM I just keep wondering if she was black, or if it was a man who kicked the officer, would there be a trial? |

Sunday, January 22, 2012 11:32:40 AM If you have usd the words 'bitch' or 'deserved' in these comments ask yourself one question. Would you let someone like you date your daughter? Bitch didn't comply, bitch deserves a kick in the head. While cuffed. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 10:45:40 PM I'm no cop lover, but this was just a natural reaction, the bitch kicked him FIRST. All bets are off then. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 9:18:34 PM @Edgarska19 that's one of the most idiotic and dangerous statements i've ever heard. privileges... are you f*cking serious?! the fact is, no one is excusing her actions, but assault is assault. whether you're a dumb drunk c*nt on a curb, or a fascist d*ck-head cop. he has professional training to control himself in stressful situations, and he f*cking failed. that is why he is on trial. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 9:04:50 PM As much as she probably deserved a good kick in the head, it was not the cops place to do it. In most areas the proper procedure would have been to cuff her ankles and then hogtie her with a third pair of cuffs or a zip tie. Hopefully he'll have to do some jail time for assault and she doesn't see a dime. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 5:25:51 PM @Xpekt That's the problem, everything violates human rights. They should be privileges, not rights. And she lost them when she tried to kick that cop. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 3:37:54 PM Yes she kicked him first..barefoot and restrained. The cop was not in danger or harm's way and certainly did not have the right or need to react in such a way, he should have moved away and added assault or resisting to her charges. Those who say she deserved it better wake up...one day it might you or your loved ones who gets assaulted for doing something that might be wrong but not under the authority for a cop to decide to act on with excessive force. Cops are not judges or jurys and should safely detain and arrest if necessary and the COURTS decide your punishment, not the cops. Consenting to this kind of treatment and condoning such behavior guarantees cops will only get worse. Cops aren't always dealing with killers and violent criminals and are trained to handle such situations better than this. People get drunk, they do stupid things. The fact that no one on the scene even reacted when he did this only proves how accepted it is. ..pardon my rant. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 3:30:41 PM yes people she kicked him first...it did no harm to him at all. he kicked her back, VERY hard and injured her while she was hand cuffed. COPS ARE NOT JUDGES, so get off the "she deserved it bullcrap". you want to do it that way then every time a cop deems someone is being a total ass and "deserves" a smack down they will deliver one. I'm pretty sure we would rather avoid that scenario. cops are here to enforce the law, not dish out punishment. she was handcuffed, he could have done a number of things to stop her from kicking him again. firt and formost, not stand that close to someone, that is pretty damn easy to understand. cops are trained to maintain a safe distance when not directly controling a suspect to avoid this very type of thing. secondly, he has a tazer, pepper spray OR he could have simply grabbed her and opush her over and used shackles like he is suppose to. cops like this are |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 2:47:08 PM jtrebowski - Really couldn't care less. There's no good reason why anyone should stand idly by while some woman thinks it is within her rights to physically attack another person. Cop or not, clearly she deserved a swift kick to the head. Maybe it'll knock some damn sense into her. |

Saturday, January 21, 2012 2:01:30 PM @Bremir: "I'll be honest, someone kicks me, regardless of whether they're bound or not, I'll ******* kick them back. I don't see why anyone should tolerate being physically attacked themselves." If you have a reflexive knee-jerk response to something, I suppose there's nothing we can do about that, but police officers are trained to make informed decisions. This one clearly did not. |
