Okay, I'm a born Canadian and I don't understand what the hell the giant squirrel was all about. Who in hell thought this was a good idea for an ad? If you're trying to figure out what's going on thru the whole thing, it isn't a good spot. |

It never ceases to amaze me that when money needs to be cut to help reduce a deficit, it always has to come from critical services such as police, fire, education etc. Yet there are numerous cases of government waste (all governments) that are unnecessary and never get any attention and whose funding could go along way to reducing the deficit.
Look at these two sites and just think of all the police, education, inspectors or whatever could be funded with the money wasted:
