This article is only meant to stir up the false left-right paradigm that is blinding everyone. Republicans and democrats only exist to present the american people with the illusion of choice. Obama's policies are the same as bush jr are the same as clinton are the same as bush sr are the same as reagan are the same as carter. If voting actually made any difference in the political process it would have been made illegal years ago. |

Well I wasn't defending them anyway, except maybe for the "who wants war?"=democrats comment. You're also skewing the argument by not acknowledging republican complicity in some of those policies.
You don't actually make any argument that most of the US legacy media (especially the newspapers and most TV news sources, including PBS) are socialist.
Saying that American news companies are biased is like saying water is wet. There are biases on both sides, I'm not even arguing that, it's self-evident. Many of 5cats' arguments are ad nauseum anyway. |

There is good evidence, much of it coming directly from them (you have read the Journolist emails, haven't you?) that they are. So basically you are just sore that most recent problems were caused by the Democrats or statist policy of Republicans. You can't argue against it, so you simply rubbish the claims without addressing them. |

Well, since it's a Republican writer, I assume he's frustrated that well known republican supporters and their arguments are stupid, which I would have to agree. Have you seen the Republican candidates? Jeebus.
If you take a second to actually read the headline, it's apparent that Newsweek isn't saying "Anyone who doesn't support Obama is dumb." I feel like Republicans CONSTANTLY play the "OH WOE IS ME, THE WORLD IS SO CRUEL TO US FORWARD-THINKING REDS" card.
