Tuesday, January 17, 2012 4:28:35 PM so how many things wrong with this: 1. who has a 16:9 window in their house? mine are vertical 2. everyone sees what your doing on the computer right now and can see what your watching. 3. rock through your window - $2000 repair. 4. fingerprints all over the window. 5. have to stand to use the thing. i'm all for technology, but this is kind of dumb. i'd rather see smaller versions for that stuff. i don't need to watch tv everywhere i go. just an information panel is fine. |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 9:52:52 PM This would be awesome, except even with the blinds people on the other side can see through. I don't like having my windows completely open for the world to see in. Also, everyone would be able to see what you;re doing on the computer, so no porn. Maybe if they made one that you can only see the computer screen on one side? |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 5:44:51 PM " Till the kid down the street throws a rock through it from the outside and you couldn't see out to tell who did it. I mean seriously I have had enough windows broken in my own home to know how bad this idea really is. This is practical about 40 stories up and even then you deal with birds..." It's obviously not for everyone, but then again, how many products really are??? I live 20 stories up, and my patio is right next to my computer, so to me this idea is great. |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 1:09:56 PM Darkmagic, in the video I dont hear her say anything about what appears on the other side of the glass. For all we know it can be a regular window on the other side, or have mirrored surface. They didnt explain this. They only said that they cannot see what you see, but that doesnt mean that they cannot see you. |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 12:35:13 PM Smart? That is dead smart! Shoulder-surfing can now be done from comfort and luxury of your own home, with the help of a cheap telescope. Crims: Bingo! You can now have a beer in your own armchair while emptying someone's bank account. Social networking secrets? No problem! Wives: Husband on the p*rn while you're at work? Catch 'em red-handed! Surely this is a retrograde step. . . |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 12:06:02 PM So you literally put this on your window? The windows in my house (excluding the kitchen and my brother's room) are in extremely inconvenient places for using a wall/window computer. Also I live in a hurricane prone area. The last thing I want to do is worry about a projectile smashing through my thousands of dollars "smart window". Plus, if it's attached to a window, wont it be visible from the outside? Way to make yourself a prime target for thieves. Now, if it's just a touch screen wall computer (not a window computer) it'd be a bit more practical. But I don't really have the desire to use a computer while standing at home. It might be beneficial in a work environment though. idk |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 11:04:47 AM I like it... but I see many potential flaws. We're a long way from replacing actual windows and monitors. |
