These waves are among the most dangerous on the planet. It is not so much about their size as it is how they are formed. Unlike normal breaks, these waves are built by the water being sucked off of the reef in front. The back of the wave is at sea level. These waves are basically a hole in the ocean, waiting to close out on your scrawny corpse. |
