Saturday, January 14, 2012 1:25:33 PM So very limited dosages over very brief periods to small sample sizes, of mice no-less, and they didn't see side effects. How about you scale that up a bit and THEN you can start talking about how safe it is? |

Saturday, January 14, 2012 6:55:20 AM "But doctors warned that the pill should not be used to replace exercising." Place your bets that's the platform it gets marketed on, the opposite of the quote I mean. |

Friday, January 13, 2012 1:16:20 PM @jacos27 You do realize the telegraph is from the UK right? I'm pretty sure they couldn't care less about our presidential candidates or any speeches Obama was giving. |

Friday, January 13, 2012 11:28:51 AM NOT A CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCE! Just look around the website. Not a single mention of any presidential candidate, no news on the speech Obama made this morning. Come on IABers...I thought you were smarter than this. |

Friday, January 13, 2012 8:21:34 AM This is stupid. Now people will just get fat because they know there's an easy way out. |

Friday, January 13, 2012 8:13:13 AM What if professional eaters got ahold of this? Pop a few pill before a competition and they'll be burning off energy, making them hungrier. They'd never lose! |

Friday, January 13, 2012 7:36:09 AM @Devok - nope, I read it. wasn't impressed. Drug or not, people will still be lazy as hell. I don't see this is a cure but more as a crutch. If people want to lose weight they can. They don't always need a drug to do it. I don't understand what the hard part is. Exercise, eat right(or better) and you can lose weight, yet people will just use this to eat what they want without dealing with the consequences. If you've tried to exercise and eat right(or better) and it doesn't work, then look at chemistry. I'm all for better living through chemistry but I just don't see this as being a useful treatment for the masses(no pun intended). |

Friday, January 13, 2012 6:26:31 AM This is a shame really, because it has the potential to help people, but most of the people that will end up using it will go on stuffing their faces and refusing to exercise. They will then complain that it's not doing what it was meant to do. Thus giving them another excuse as to why they 'have trouble' with their weight. Instead of popping pills, put down the chips, eat a balanced diet and get up off the sofa and do something outside. |
