This is like the fifth or sixth "I made my rotten kid where an embarrassing sign in public" news story I've seen. While the method itself is fine by me, can we stop publicizing this as if it's a new concept? |

A parent can only do so much to instil values and morals into their children, it is up to the child to then decide whether or not to use said morals and values when living their life. A statement like the one you made says one of two things to me, either A) your not a parent or B) you are one of those clueless “Not my child, never could they do such a thing” parent. |

I'm with McDuff73 on this one. The mother should ask herself how her parenting skills got them here in the first place and whether this isn't just going to send the kid even further away from her. I don't see an example of good parenting here. |

Right on! If only more moms were like her, sure there might be a better way to go about trying to help him, but at least she's doing SOMETHING. Not just standing aside, watching him, and expecting someone else to take responsibility. |

Weird, but at least she's taking initiative. If we spent as much money helping and rehabilitating young people instead of throwing a fee at them, our society would be a way better place. |
