where was the MSM's "self-righteous indignation" when the bodies of US soldiers were desicrated in the past?
Where did you hear that US bodies were desecrated? The mainstream media. Did they report it as "good on those freedom fighters"? I highly doubt it. |

They haven't, obviously, because they're not a nation.
Whether they have signed it or not is irrelevant. The rules of the Geneva Convention apply to your soldiers whether the enemy follow them or not. Just like all laws. "They started it" is not a valid excuse. |

Also the ones without airspace according to the site I found this on are rare early AK rounds. If thing were to ever get real ugly(god I hope not) watch how much the Geneva Convention is followed. |

Oh and when did the Taliban sign the Geneva Convention? War crime isn't that a oxymoron? Countries have been finding way around these rule since they were started they banned hollow point didn't they ever look at how an AK-47's bullet is designed?? |

First Geneva Convention, 1906 version:
Chapter 1, Article 3:
After every engagement the belligerent who remains in possession of the field of battle shall take measures to search for the wounded and to protect the wounded and dead from robbery and ill treatment.
The Convention was updated in 1949, and the relevant passage can now found in Chapter 2, Article 15:
At all times, and particularly after an engagement, Parties to the conflict shall, without delay, take all possible measures to search for and collect the wounded and sick, to protect them against pillage and ill-treatment, to ensure their adequate care, and to search for the dead and prevent their being despoiled.
America has been party to the Geneva Convention since 1955. |

The hippies seem to like to over look the much worse things they've done don't they?
If the standard of behaviour you expect from your armed forces is no greater than the standard of behaviour you expect from the Taliban, you must have very little respect for your servicemen/women and what they are supposed to represent.
I don't expect the British Army to desecrate the bodies of dead enemies just because the people they're fighting do the same. I expect them to be better than that. |

Look, I have no interest in serving like these brave men do, so if they want to piss on a couple of ass holes that were probably trying to kill them in the first place, then so be it. At the end of the day these soldiers need to stop videotaping all the stuff they do so it doesnt come around and bite them on the ass later. |

I love how people are using the “they did worse things than this” excuse. It’s a BS argument, this isn’t a comparison between their standards and ours, we KNOW their standards are lower. Keeping our ethical and moral principles is what makes us the good guys. |
