Gerry I disagree. Yes people do make mistakes. However, what she said didn't make sense and even though we can figure out the word she probably meant, she obviously couldn't. It really sounds like she was trying to use a big word that she heard someone say once, and she got it wrong. Saying it wrong once would be a gaffe, saying it more than once is just showing her lack of intelligence. |

I didn't man to be a grammar nazi in this case. It's just such an irrelevant post, there shouldn't be anything else to say.
However, I do tend to read the words I read, and when I see the word "your" out of place, I actually have to stop and reread the sentence again for it to make sense. I'm not perfect, nobody is, but a little effort when trying to get an opinion across will help the readers believe you're not a complete tool.
Personally, I had to look up what an emoticon was, haven't used that word since ICQ... |
