Friday, January 06, 2012 3:46:19 PM My future prediction: faith and family values will win elections with the promise that the government will be put to task to reinforce these values. Then, when a particular denomination gains significant numbers (say, Evangelical or such) they will enforce their morality and the other denominations will say 'um... what - we have religious freedom, right... or, wait, we voted to repeal that'. So go ahead America, vote to have your faith and values codified into our government. At least, you think your denomination will come out on top... but be ready to accept what comes when it isn't the 'winner' of the faith and family values legislation. |

Friday, January 06, 2012 11:35:06 AM The last thing Barack Obama did in 2011 was sign a bill that eliminates due process for anyone suspected of terrorism in America. Now, what do you suppose a country completely controlled by Christians would think about free-thinkers, agnostic and Atheist people? Scary thought. :( Don't like the moronic notion that dinosaurs walked the earth with humans? You follow science? How dare you think the world is older than 6000 years! Blasphemy! Do you dare question the bible? You are now a threat and will be removed. |

Friday, January 06, 2012 5:47:37 AM Have you noticed that he never looks anyone in the eye. I have too. It's either because: a)It's harder to be caught in a lie that way, or b)He went to the Kristen Stewart school of acting. |

Friday, January 06, 2012 2:57:49 AM Hey American believers, why not call for a big convention, where you agree on few standpoints on which to build a moral nation? I'd watch that. Do the Mormons sit on the "Christian" side? Has the Pope a say? Are women allowed? |

Friday, January 06, 2012 1:15:31 AM elderban, separation of church and state is actually in the consitution, just not the U.S. constitution. It's in the Soviet constitution, Article 52 -- look it up. Anyway, much rather have Santorum's values than those of some lawless Kenyan Marxist. Is November here yet? |

Thursday, January 05, 2012 9:16:50 PM @TheShgn2: I hate to break it to you, but the "separation of church and state" is nowhere in the constitution. It only states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...", which basically means that the government cannot set up a national religion, nor can they keep others from practicing any religion they choose. That being said, if the government chooses to, say, display the Ten Commandments at a courthouse then they must also leave the option open to other religions to post their "commandments" as well, whatever they may be. |

Thursday, January 05, 2012 6:04:52 PM Jesus drating christ. If the GOP canidates do not stop talking about how god needs to be in schools and in government, I'm going to go crazy. First of all, separation of church and state is one of basic foundations of America. Secondly, if they let schools start teaching religion, they have to teach all of them, including Islam, which you know Republicans don't want. Are they completely retarded? I don't like Obama, but he seems to be the least retarded person running for president this year. |

Thursday, January 05, 2012 1:21:12 PM It's too bad that those values taught at churches, synagogues and mosques are in conflict with each other... you might as well vote for that nut, Ron Paul. |

Schools should teach reading, writing & 'rithmetic. NOT values. Parents should teach values, not the governement. Keep church out of school. |
