Cut off a bit of hose, poke a hole in a drink bottle , put hose through hole and put conepiece in end of hose, add water. It's called a bong not a hooka. Who doesn't know pot culture? |

GParadox - I've seen some crazy beautiful artful bongs in my day (Ahem creds Canadian art districts) but the long and short of it is.... still poo to smoke weed out of which is not an elitist activity. If you smoke weed AND you're snob, please realize that no one, but no one thinks you're better because of what you smoke it out of.
THAT BEING SAID. Making bongs is like arts and crafts. It's fun. You exercise your creative bone, and if you're really awesomely talented, you make you're own completely amazing fine smoking instruments that deliver that clean more flavourful hit, for those with a discerning palate. Mind you, smoke through an apple if you really want a decent taste. Weed tastes like poo. Any good canadian knows that if you think the weed tastes good, you're missing the point. Eat a cupcake.
Also, also you. don't. know. Kush.

For me and most people who use bongs it is for the quality of hit it delivers. I find the smoke is cleaner and tastes better when drawn through a glass bowl and none of your MacGyver inspired smoking devices thus far have been up to standards. ...guess i'm also a snob, when it comes to kush. |

And when I was a lad of fifteen I had adapted a Blue Peter Tracey Island into a bong, But we made our own entertainment in those days. Things have come to a pretty pass when making a personal bong is a hardship. Or to be disdained. |

Hm. Normally, if people here want to build a bong, fast, one uses a plastic bottle or a 1/2 liter beer can and make two holes; one choke and one for the aluminum foil. Never heard of the garden hose thing before. I guess there are more garden hoses in Australia than Norway :-p |

no, he ment bong for weed, plastic drinking bottle (orchy bottle the best), 3-4 inch length of garden hose and a peice cut from an aluminium can rolled up for the cone piece ... really all u need is the brass cone piece to make a quality bong |
