fun fact! if the moon had athmosphere you could use bigger wings to fly around with
Terraforming the moon is probably impossible, but maybe you could build an underground city and put an atmosphere in that. Make a big enough open space and that would do the trick. It would attract settlers: Come and live in the moon...you can FLY! Hey, I'd go.
But is it actually true? It sounds plausible because of the huge reduction in weight, but is it real or an urban sci-fi myth? |

Wingsuits are nothing new and they're not remotely comparable to jetpacks. One gives powered flight, the other is a glider.
Anyone who has access to 4 On Demand might like to watch the "Human Bird" episode of the "Daredevils" series. It's about Jeb Corliss' wingsuit jump down the Matterhorn. One side of it as about the right angle of slope, so he took a helicopter above the peak, jumped and glided just above the ground all the way down, with a helmet camera. |

Jetpacks actually lift you of the ground, these suits are just for gliding, hence jetpacks are better for flying.
That being said, this looks drating awesome and I want to try it immediately. |

i don't need to buy an expensive suit for that,
i don't need to jump off a mountian, and risk my life for that, i just walk to the coffeeshop, pay 10 euro, walk back, put on a movie, smoke, and off i go... |
